Paid media
LinkedIn Ads, traced to the sale.
We never take a percentage of your ad spend. LinkedIn reaches people by job title, seniority, company and industry. We use it where those matter, send every Lead Gen Form lead into HubSpot and judge the campaign on meetings, pipeline and sales.

LinkedIn Ads at a glance

- Formats
- Single image, video, carousel, document and event ads, Conversation Ads and Lead Gen Forms
- Targeting
- Job title, function, seniority, company, industry and your own lists
- Reporting
- In HubSpot, with each lead's source
- Our fee
- For the work, never a percentage of your ad spend
Choosing the channel
Worth it when the job title matters.
In our own campaigns, LinkedIn has cost more per view than Meta. It earns that when the buyer is defined by their role: a finance director, a head of admissions, a HubSpot partner, a procurement lead. LinkedIn publishes no typical prices, so we test small and judge it on the leads that reach HubSpot.
If your buyers are easier to reach through search, or on Facebook and Instagram, we will tell you, and keep LinkedIn small or leave it out.
- Buyers you can name by job title or company
- A sale worth more than a few clicks
- A list of companies you want to reach
- Someone ready to follow up each lead
Capture
Three ways to catch the lead.
Each one ends with a HubSpot record that knows which ad started it.
Lead Gen Forms
A form inside the ad that fills itself from the member's LinkedIn profile. With email as a required field, leads reach HubSpot as contacts on every plan, usually within two hours.
Landing pages
A page built for each campaign, with a HubSpot form and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, so you can count conversions and show ads again to the people who visited.
Events and documents
Event ads for webinars and open days, and document ads for guides and reports, each followed up from HubSpot.
The whole journey
From the ad to the record, and back.
HubSpot tells LinkedIn which leads became customers, so the next campaign learns from the last.

- Conversation Ads
- Your company lists and site visitors
2. The capture
Form or page
- A Lead Gen Form

Conversions API
- Lifecycle stages from HubSpot
- LinkedIn learns which leads became customers
- Budget moved to what sells
HubSpot sends lifecycle stage changes to LinkedIn from Marketing Hub Starter. LinkedIn accepts events from the last 90 days, and by default it credits an ad for 90 days after a click or a view.
HubSpot and LinkedIn
What your HubSpot plan adds.
The LinkedIn connection works on every HubSpot plan. The higher Marketing Hub editions send results back to LinkedIn, and show revenue.
Every plan, including Free
Connect your ad account, sync Lead Gen Form leads, track LinkedIn ads to contacts and build audiences from your website visitors.
Marketing Hub Starter
Send lifecycle stages to LinkedIn through the Conversions API, up to five events, and target LinkedIn ads at HubSpot contact segments.
Professional and Enterprise
Revenue from deals, ROI and cost per customer by campaign, every attribution model, and up to 50 or 100 conversion events.
Tested on our own budget
We learn on our own money first.
We run LinkedIn for Flowella, our sister company's WhatsApp app for HubSpot. In 2026 we aimed it at HubSpot partners, with ad groups by partner tier and company lists sent from HubSpot, and at college admissions and marketing teams, with a Lead Gen Form set up to sync to HubSpot.
What we learned: LinkedIn costs more than Meta, but it reaches the job titles and companies you choose. So we use it for narrow audiences with a clear offer, keep tests short and only scale what brings meetings or sales.
- Ad groups by job title, company and tier
- Company lists sent from HubSpot
- Lead Gen Form leads into HubSpot

Getting going
How we start.
- 01
Agree the target
The job titles and companies, the one action you want, such as a booked call or an event place, and what a lead is worth to you.
- 02
Connect and test
Ad account and Lead Gen Forms connected to HubSpot, the Insight Tag on your site, and a test lead followed into your CRM before the budget goes up.
- 03
Start small
A short test on a modest daily budget. LinkedIn's minimum is $10 a day, and a day's spend can run up to twice the daily budget, so we watch it.
- 04
Keep what works
Stop what does not reach HubSpot, move budget to the ads and audiences that bring meetings, and report monthly on pipeline, not clicks.

Questions about LinkedIn Ads
Do you take a percentage of our ad spend?
No. You pay LinkedIn directly for your media, and you pay us for the work, on a monthly plan or a day rate. Our fee is never a share of your budget. See pricing.
Do Lead Gen Form leads go straight into HubSpot?
Yes, on every HubSpot plan, once the LinkedIn ad account is connected and the form asks for an email address as a required field. New leads usually arrive within two hours. People who click through to a landing page fill in a HubSpot form, so they arrive at once.
How much should we spend on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn's minimum is $10 a day, and it publishes no typical prices: what you pay depends on the auction and on how relevant your ad is. In our own campaigns it has cost more than Meta, so we start with a short test, a narrow audience and a clear offer, then decide with you from the leads that reach HubSpot.
Can LinkedIn learn which leads became customers?
Yes. From Marketing Hub Starter, HubSpot sends lifecycle stage changes to LinkedIn through its Conversions API, and LinkedIn accepts events from the last 90 days. With Sales Hub Professional or Enterprise, LinkedIn's own Revenue Attribution Report can also show pipeline and revenue from your HubSpot deals.
Can we target the companies on our sales list?
Yes. LinkedIn matches company lists and contact lists, and HubSpot can send company lists and contact segments to LinkedIn as audiences (contact segments from Marketing Hub Starter). An ad set needs at least 300 LinkedIn members to run.
Can we advertise to people in Greece and the rest of the EU?
Yes, with limits. In the European Economic Area, LinkedIn's matched audiences and message ads reach only members who have opted in, so your lists match fewer people than they would in the UK. We plan EU campaigns around job title and company targeting for that reason.
Do you run LinkedIn ads for financial services?
Yes, within LinkedIn's rules. It accepts UK financial services ads only from firms authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, and UK ads must follow the CAP Code. For pension funds, insurers and lenders we check this before we plan anything.
Are you a LinkedIn partner?
No. LinkedIn's Marketing Partner programme is for technology and service providers it has reviewed, and we are not in it. We are a HubSpot Platinum partner, a Google Partner and a Meta Business Partner, and we run LinkedIn through HubSpot's connection to LinkedIn's own tools.
Next step
Where does your ad budget go after the click?
Our paid media review looks at your Google, Meta and LinkedIn accounts, the pages your ads send people to and what reaches your CRM. Then we tell you what to keep, fix and stop.
