Case study, from 2016

Four websites. One group.

Four websites and hundreds of microsites, each run its own way. From 2016 we helped NCB Financial Group in Jamaica bring its bank, insurance, capital markets and group sites into one estate, with shared building blocks and teams trained to run it.

The challenge

Four sites. Hundreds of microsites.

NCB is the largest financial group in Jamaica, with roots going back to 1837. Each of its businesses had built its own web presence, and it showed.

Before

A group run site by site

4websites, each managed separately

  • Different standards and features on every site
  • Hundreds of microsites and campaign pages, with inconsistent branding and dated UX
  • Manual, disjointed processes that slowed marketing and product launches
  • Strict regulation: every change had to be secure, traceable and controlled

After

One estate, one way of working

1framework for landing pages across the group

  • Hundreds of microsites folded into page builder landing pages
  • Shared libraries of page sections and widgets
  • Teams trained to publish pages, emails and automation themselves
  • Change control, cyber security and OneTrust cookie consent
  • A consistent experience across banking, insurance and capital markets

The work

Bank, insurer and group.

Four group websites on one content platform, each with its own brand: jncb.com, myncb.com, ncbinsurance.com and ncbcapitalmarkets.com.

Under the hood

Wired into the bank.

On jncb.com, forms go straight into NCB's Microsoft Dynamics CRM, exchange rates come from NCB's own web services, and the branch finder shows only what matches a search.

    • Personalisation and landing pages
    • Email and marketing automation
    • Federated search
    • Change control
  3. Connected
